Nora Melendez, Founder
Nora Melendez is the founder of Se Puede Consulting LLC, a consultancy dedicated to empowering organizations and leaders committed to driving positive social change. With extensive experience in strategic planning, program development, and community-centered design, Nora specializes in working with teams to build impactful, mission-driven initiatives. Nora is deeply committed to building culturally responsive and linguistically appropriate programming, working closely with organizations to ensure that their initiatives resonate with the communities they serve.
As a first-generation American and the child of immigrants, Nora brings a personal understanding of the challenges communities face when navigating systems that are intended to support them but lack the infrastructure to do so effectively. This perspective fuels her passion for ensuring that the programs she develops are accessible, equitable, and tailored to the unique needs of diverse populations.
Throughout her career, Nora has successfully designed and implemented large-scale programs in early childhood literacy, immigrant support services, legal service facilitation, and education. She has a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams, managing complex stakeholder relationships, and utilizing data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve program outcomes. With experience at the international, national, state, and local levels, Nora excels at developing comprehensive outreach and engagement strategies that drive meaningful change. She also has a strong budget and performance management background, ensuring that resources are maximized and initiatives are effectively executed.
With a focus on building sustainable, community-driven solutions, Nora continues to support organizations in creating programs that are not only aligned with their missions but also truly make a difference for those who need it most. She holds a B.A. from St. John’s University.
